It's time to import a list of contacts you're planning on calling! The list you're planning on importing should already be skip traced / have phone numbers of each contact and their address. This guide will show you how to import it into the BatchDialer.

We have several learning options available: An interactive demo , a full video walkthrough and a written article. Simply scroll through this guide to find your preferred learning method.

Start by going to "Contacts" in your menu and click on "Contact Lists". On this page click on "import contacts" near the top right hand corner (shown in image below).

On the next page, drag and drop you CSV file or click on the upload box to find the file in your computer downloads.

NOTE: Your file MUST be in CSV file format - if you need to learn an easy way to convert files to CSV, watch the video at the top of this guide!

Find your file and click on "open" to begin uploading it into BatchDialer.

"Sources fields" refer to the file you are importing and the columns of information that live within that said file. "Destination fields" refer to where you'll be plugging those columns of information into BatchDialer. There is an example image further down showing you what type of information you'll need to import. Everyone's file is different so just practice looking at your own file and how you'll need to match the data.

NOTE : You MUST provide the actual property address if you'd like to view the property details on your contacts once imported

This is an example of a "source field" file.

SEPARATED columns of data required to import:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • STREET Address

  • City

  • State

  • Zip Code

  • Phone Numbers

You MUST name each column if not done already. You can import any additional information you'd like but you must at least have the minimum required fields (please view the example below).

Once you finish mapping your preferred data, click "Next" at the bottom.

Name your list and assign it to a campaign if you've already set one up (optional). Choose what you'd like BatchDialer to scrub from your contacts in additional to the defaults (litigators and duplicates) then click"submit" at the bottom. But before that we have introduced new feature while importing the contacts which helps you decide to keep old, keep new or reject the duplicates at all.

Keep Old - Newly imported numbers that already exist in the system will remain as part of the old contact

Keep New - Numbers that are found to be a duplicate will be part of the newly uploaded contact and will be removed from existing contact

Reject - This option will reject the new import record if there is a matching contact / phone already in the system

After you click "submit", the screen will take you to your "contacts" and break them up individually from the list you uploaded. You can click on any contact to view the full details and property information here!

Once completed, the system will bring up an automatic pop up letting you know if your upload was successful or not and what the system found in your list. If your file upload is unsuccessful, please view the video at the top of this guide if you haven't already or reach out to support here!

  • Total Leads Uploaded : The amount of Leads your spreadsheet contained

  • Duplicates : If there are any duplicate phone numbers within the same spreadsheet (Example: an LLC owns multiple properties in your file)

  • Existing Contacts : The amount of records already previously imported into your system which can't be re-imported unless you delete the original file

  • Misformed Leads : Contacts that have missing information (The most common is when a user skip traced their list, then didn't realize that some records didn't return any phone numbers)

  • Company DNC : If any of your contacts phone numbers fall on your systems DNC list (Example: You marked conversation with a "Do not Call" Call result in the past)

  • Federal DNC : The amount of contacts are a part of the Federal Do Not Call Registry

  • Unallocated Numbers : Numbers that are not assigned to a lead name

  • Imported Leads Count : The amount of contacts successfully uploaded

Once the file imports successfully, you can go to "contact lists" to view it. To learn about viewing your contacts' information, click here
